About the Author
Jayne Peters is an elementary school educator who has been
teaching in Nova Scotia for the past twenty years. In 2012, she was presented
with two Excellence in Teaching Awards. Messy Jessy is her first children’s
book, inspired by her daughter, Jessica’s, zest for life. Jayne is a member of
the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia and resides in Lantz, Nova Scotia with
her husband and their three children: Emma, Nathan and Jessica.
