The Blurb for Sin, Part 1:
My name is Morgan Sinclare. My father is a United States Senator. He’s kept me locked away for most of my life in private all-girl schools, in our home. But I just heard what he has planned for me. He’s sold my hand to the highest bidder. I’m supposed to marry one of his friends, someone twice my age. I’m biding my time, acting like the giddy bride-to-be, like the dutiful daughter.

We are to elope as soon as possible to seal the deal. I acted devastated that I wouldn’t get my dream wedding, so they’re letting me choose the honeymoon location. I’ve always heard that Las Vegas is a magical place. And I think it’s time I disappear....

Excerpt from Sin, Part 1:

Lifting the hair off my neck, I welcomed the cool breeze of the low-hung ceiling fans. By some miracle or fluke of nature, I’d found an empty table just off the floor and claimed a stool to rest my feet and cool off. My body prickled with goose bumps when his warm breath slid over my ear. “It’s about time you stopped playing with the poor boy.”

Shane slid into the seat next to me. “What are you talking about?” I dropped my hair and looked at him.

“He’s been grinding up on you all night, tongue hanging out like a thirsty dog, and you didn’t even throw him a bone, did you?”

I swallowed thickly. “What should I have done?”

He scooted his stool closer and swiveled my stool around until his knee slid into position between my own. I inhaled sharply. His large hand traced my spine from the base of my neck until it landed dangerously close to the globes of my ass. He leaned in and said, “You could have done any number of things with him, but I’m glad you didn’t.”

“Why?”

“Because now you’re free to do them with me.” When he leaned in close and licked the outside of my ear, the scruff of his chin scraped against my neck. It was too much. I gasped and grabbed the table, my knuckles turning white under the pressure. Chuckling, he said, “You like that.”

I nodded, breathless and afraid my voice wouldn’t work. His hot tongue traced its way up my neck and lapped at my earlobe again. “You looked fucking amazing in that costume earlier.”

I tensed up. Shane’s hand found my thigh and it began to quiver with need as he rubbed lazy circles into my skin. It wasn’t easy to pretend that his touch didn’t affect me, but I tried like hell.  “Where’s your date?” I asked.

“Date?” He looked at me with knitted brows.

“Yeah, your date. The girl with the see-through dress.Nipple girl.”Oh, shit! I said that out loud. Giggling, I clapped my hand over my mouth make some sort of damn filter on the thing.

The timbre of his deep laughter filled the space between us. “She most certainly was not my date. I would never date someone like Simone.”

“Simone. Sounds like a hooker name.” The damn filter had slipped off when I wasn’t paying attention.

He looked completely amused, a huge smile spread over his face. “Why did you call her nipple girl?”

I rolled my eyes. “Come on! I could totally see her nips. I know you could. Everyone could!”

He chuckled again. “Yeah. I could. I just wanted to hear you say it.”

I smacked his arm. “Well, it’s true. Total wardrobe malfunction.”

“Depends on who you ask. Simone has mirrors. Everything that woman does is intentional. She’s a calculating bitch.” He sighed. “And she wasn’t my date or girlfriend or whatever. She’s not a hooker, either. She’s a friend’s girl and I gave her a ride to the show because she met him there and wanted to talk to Manny about auditioning for a spot. Joey’s a fighter, too. He totaled his car a couple of weeks ago and broke his leg. He’s recovering, but they still don’t have a car yet. The damned insurance claim is taking forever. They’re in a tough spot financially.  She needed a ride to apply for the job, so I took her. They’re going to get married as soon as he’s back up and running.”

“I’m so sorry. I saw her with you and thought you were together and then when you showed up here, licking on me and everything...”

He laughed and looked at me with a hunger in those stormy eyes. “Baby, that wasn’t licking. That was teasing. When I lick you, you’ll know it. And don’t be surprised if after I lick you, I’m the last man you ever want tasting your sweet little body.”

Hot damn! I almost purred. “Well, Mr. Justice, don’t be surprised if after you finally do get a taste, mine is the last sweet little body you ever want to lick.”
